About the event

All European MedTech and HealthTech innovators face the same challenge. Approaching the US market comes with budget needs – and depending on your area of diagnostics or therapeutics, that budget will be considerable. Clinical research needs in the US will be one of the major budget items for US market entry, but there are ways to get help that doesn’t necessarily drain funds from your invested capital. One of those ways to get help is through NIH, which is the largest public funder of biomedical research in the world, investing more than $32 billion a year to enhance life, and reduce illness and disability.

Writing an application for NIH funds for clinical research is a very specific skill, and the process is very “expert friendly”. But fear not, Shelley and Grace will help us demystify the NIH and the underlying processes. Not only have Shelley and Grace a great deal of insights into the processes, they have also been part of the review processes of NIH applications for many years, and can identify which application will make it, and which will be deselected in the approval processes.

Shelley and Jolly are principle and CEO at VIKRITI Management Consulting, who – in addition to a proven track record within change management and leadership – also has many years of experience within the area of soft funding in the US.
