Trade Mission / Customized Visit

To support your internationalization activities, you should – at some point in your journey – carry out a physical matchmaking and learning mission to The epicenter of health innovation and care®, Minnesota, and surrounding area, to further build on your understanding of the US MedTech market, and to generate concrete discussions with your US counterparts, distributors, and partners. 
 

For this purpose, MedTech Bridge sets up a customized trade mission to Minnesota, every summer:

  • In preparation, pre-visit training in the firm of material (mostly recorded webinars) on general aspects of US MedTech market challenges; Regulatory, Reimbursement, Human Factors Engineering, Legal entity setup in US, etc.

  • In-person meetings with local experts on your most important challenges; Regulatory, reimbursement, etc.

  • Detailed look at how the US payor system works. What are private payors looking for? What are their KPIs?. And what about Medicaid, Medicare, and VA. 

  • Overview on sales, distribution and marketing channels for MedTech devices and how to break into them (also via digital means).

  • Pitch sessions towards US based investors, and individual feedback on pitch decks and pitch ability.

  • Site visit(s) at e.g. Mayo Clinic, or a large local manufacturer.

  •  One-to-one meetings with local innovator peers, or potential partners – you “local friend” and relation in the US MedTech market.
